Position          Executive – Business Development

Reporting to  Commercial Manager

To execute assigned activities for business development

Key Responsibility Area:

  • Assists managers in planning and implementing business development strategies and work on business plans and program
  • Performs Needs Analysis and develop segment business plan to achieve annual goals, conduct research and analysis of business situations, issues and problems
  • Develops business cases, value propositions, and segmentation for targeted industries
  • Generates new business opportunities through segmentation, targeting, prospecting and networking
  • Develops and coordinates new business presentations utilizing internal & external resources
  • Negotiates all partnership documentation and present to senior management
  • Prepares activity reports within stipulated time frame for the management
  • Prepares plans and proposal strategies for new businesses and developments
  • Ensures execution/ achievement of assigned business objectives within budgeted time and resources.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):

  • Work assigned by superiors completed within given time
  • Number of new business plans created during the year
  • Proper Record Keeping
  • Number of reports prepared

Masters/Bachelors  in  Marketing/Sales


4-7 years of relevant experience. Transport/ Logistics/ Shipping experience desirable .
