For Allied Transport, Safety and Security is a decisive criterion for smooth logistics operations.
To fulfill this, We proactively meet the standards, qualifications, and certifications required by our customers, as well as complying with relevant laws and regulations as they affect our services, including compliance with Good Distribution Practices for timely, safe and secure delivery.
We ensure a high degree of security in our logistics operations.
The Management and staff of ATC have identified the aspects of our activities that we believe could have a significant impact on the environment, and have assessed the hazards and risks to the health & safety of our employees, contractors, visitors, and other interested parties.
We have taken action to minimize these impacts, hazards and risks, and to comply with relevant environmental and occupational health & safety laws and regulations, and applicable codes of practices with emphasis on Safety and Security as a decisive mission for smooth logistics which comprises workplace safety, Vehicle security as well as data and information safety & Security.
To help us achieve these aims, we have implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS) that complies fully with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 and WHO GDP TRS 957 (2010).
We are committed to continually improving the effectiveness of our IMS and to preventing pollution of the environment as well as preventing occupational injury and ill health, and have set, and will measure performance against, relevant quality, environmental and OH&S objectives and targets.
This policy is periodically reviewed to ensure its continuing suitability, and is communicated to all members of staff and any associates and/or sub-contractors working on our behalf, through induction and general awareness training to ensure workers are always physically fit, Vigilant, Detail oriented and aware of ATC’s workplace & transit emergency procedure.
In fact, road accidents are the leading cause of death and injury in the workplace, especially for the transportation industry. With this in mind, Allied Safe Driving Initiative (ASDI) was developed & implemented in January 2016 with the goal to completely eradicate work related road accidents. ASDI offers in-depth and rigorous safe driving training to over 1,000 drivers and is based on three important parameters, which have helped us enhance our road safety record.
1. Empowering drivers
2. Better Safety Assets
3. Performance monitoring
The vehicles are monitored with GPS tracking to ensure transit safety and security. ATC has in place a 24/7 Security monitoring control room and highways road patrolling teams to closely monitor and keep records during vehicle transit. In addition, ATC has implemented different security options such as RFID card, Door sensors, GEO fences etc.
